Technical details<\/h1>\n

The\u00a0Workstation<\/strong>COMFORT<\/em>\u00a0is a flexible protective housing for machining larger workpieces. It is suited for single item production through to the marking of large batch sizes. The spaciously dimensioned working area is readily accessible and equipped with a large T-grooved plate. This provides a 600 mm x 400 mm clamping surface and is loadable with parts up to 75 kg in weight. A z-axis allows a travelling distance of 100 mm and enables the machining of parts up to 140 mm in height. In manual operation, the integrated focus finder helps the user to quickly set up the correct z-position. The complete system is a solution in accordance with laser safety class 1 and otherwise requires no further safety devices. It is thus an attractive alternative to conventional marking technologies even for small companies.<\/p>\n

Accessories<\/strong><\/p>\n

Workstation<\/strong>COMFORT<\/em>\u00a0can be equipped with a rotary axis for wraparound circumferential marking. On request, the system can be delivered with a desktop PC or industrial PC with a laser smoke extraction device suitable to the application. The system can also be operated with a customer-specific PC or existing extraction unit.<\/p>\n

Fields of application<\/strong><\/p>\n

Workstation<\/strong>COMFORT<\/em>\u00a0can be combined will all types of ACI lasers. This makes it suited for machining a large range of materials, including metals, plastics, ceramics, foils, glass and organic materials. The system is typically used for small to medium quantities.<\/p>\n

Software<\/strong><\/p>\n

The marking software\u00a0Magic<\/strong>Mark<\/em>\u00a0used with the\u00a0Workstation<\/strong>COMFORT<\/em>\u00a0enables the marking of texts, graphics, codes such as DataMatrix or barcodes, serial numbers, logos and wraparound circumferential marking on rotationally symmetrical workpieces. An intelligent rights management system enables the establishment of different operator groups, thus allowing customisation of the system to the user’s individual requirements. Even semiautomatic operation with independent data exchange to different data sources is possible without any problems.\u00a0Magic<\/strong>Mark<\/em>\u00a0is included in the scope of the laser delivery.<\/p>\n
